Bloggers Launch The World According to Mom
Catherine of Her Bad Mother and David of It's Not a Lecture have started a new project called "The World According To Mom: Around the World in 80 Clicks." David explains the project: They're working with Amira Al Hussaini at Global Voices to "to find 80 mom bloggers in 80 different countries to write a post" answering the question Catherine poses: What are five things you love about being a mom? "We want to see if it's possible to travel the world and make friends, virtually, solely on the Vernian voyage power of the momosphere," writes Catherine. "We want to see if we can pull together a global playdate in 80 clicks." Catherine lists some of the bloggers participating so far: "to get started, why not see a little more of Canada by visiting Redneck Mommy in Alberta, or Sherina from Chaos Theory in Quebec. Then, travel a little further and visit Chocoholic Madness, a soon-to-be mom in the United Arab Emirates, and Fine Little Day in Sweden, and Indian Mommies (there's a tremendous blogroll of Indian moms here!) in India, and, also, Beth, who used to live in Burkina Faso but now lives in France." If you want to get involved but haven't been tagged yet, here's how...
Write your own post of 5 things you love about being a mom, link to someone else and let them know you've tagged them, and link back to Her Bad Mother and leave a comment. David will update the "itinerary" on his blog as the project continues, and is also Tweeting about it with hashtag #globalmoms. Here at Blogs.com, we'll update you as the project spreads to moms around the world!
