Lauren Elkin is a PhD candidate in English literature at the Université de Paris VII and the Graduate Center, City University of New York, and editor of the popular literary blog Maîtresse. She is a member of the National Book Critics Circle, and her work has appeared in The Guardian, Nextbook, and The Huffington Post. Elkin is at work on a novel. These blogs are in English, written largely by Anglophones living in Paris. They chronicle daily life in the City of Light.
